Guérande salt is sea salt made by evaporating seawater with sun and wind in the salt marshes of the Guérande peninsula in Brittany. Le Guérandais is the brand of a cooperative of local salt workers (paludiers), and also offers fleur de sel, the delicate crystals that form on the surface.
